My name is Cindy Manly and I have been inspiring others to embrace their creativity as a teacher in the art industry for over 20 years!
I am the host of The Shattered Circle, an Online Creative Art Community that provides a friendly, supportive place to learn, grow and explore all things creative.
I’m also the original creator of this iconic Christmas Tree Challenge—now in its 5th year. I love how this design has inspired so many, and I’m thrilled to teach it again so you can learn it straight from the source.

Day 1
Oct 27 @ 7pm CT
Step-by-step acrylic backgrounds on all three canvases. Learn simple color mixes and texture tricks so every canvas is ready to sparkle.
Day 2
Oct 28 @ 7pm CT
Transfer the tree template, finish off background details, then place crushed glass on all three pieces for shine, depth, and balance.
Day 3
Oct 29 @ 7pm CT
Add beads, baubles, shells, and finishing touches, then pour resin on all three trees for a glossy, gift-worthy finish you’ll be proud to show off.

We have prepared the supply kit for those who are new to glass and resin art. Our goal is to make it easy to to shop for the items used in this project.
Purchasing the kit is not required to participate.
You can purchase supplies at artshattered.com, Michaels craft stores, Hobby Lobby, and Amazon, or you can use what you have on hand at home.
We even provide videos that show you how to safely break glass and tint glass to your desired color!
After you have successfully registered for the Christmas Tree Challenge, you will receive a link to purchase the kit, if you wish. The kit is only available to Christmas Tree Challenge 2025 participants.
